The New Yorker basket features an oh so perfectly practical two handle set – one long for use as a shoulder bag, the other short for carrying in the hand or over the forearm. Natural flat leather handle with two rows of plain tooling. Sizing is approximate as this a handwoven product.

The ultimate sustainable shopping basket, each one is handmade in Morocco by farmers from the Atlas Mountains. Using traditional methods, the baskets are hand woven from strips of fallen palm fronds which are then sewn together in rounds, so no two are quite the same.

Lightweight and strong, these baskets are ideal for supermarket (goes straight from trolley to boot without all the plastic) or farmer’s market shopping, as a beach or pool bag, a weekender or washing basket. They also make perfect picnic hampers.
